FunkFu
FunkFu is Prague based studio, run by Martin Svoboda. The studio is specialising in hand-drawn illustration, typography, art-direction, magazines or motion graphics across disciplines and sectors.

The FunkFu started in 2000 as part of a thesis for a graduate degree in graphic design. What was supposed to be a magazine about urban culture, has, after couple of years and some street-art experiments, developed into a multi-disciplinary creative platform. The motivation for this creative commentary comes from Funkfu’s ongoing exploration of trends in graphic design and the arts. Inspired by everything from cartography, oil paintings, Japanese woodcuts & the packaging of consumer products, he hopes to explore new synergies between all these related fields. The crossover between art & design, kitsch & glamour, functionality & extravagance are all explored through the Funkfu Project.
